Rick Owens FW19 "Larry" collection was a tribute to designer Larry Legaspi. Designer Larry Legaspi worked on the "black and silver space-sleaze" outfits for rock band KISS and girl group Labelle in the 1970s. If you read back through Owens' earlier interviews, you'll notice that he frequently cites Legaspi as an inspiration and laments the fact that he doesn't get much credit. The pants featured Rick's signature heavy wax effect along with a zipper that opens up the pants from the side. The zipper along with the buttoned pocket gives these pants a grunge DIY look.
